Review:
“The fuzzed out guitar tones and trippy reverb swells recall many late 1960s psych band in their more exploratory moments (Doors, soundtrack-era Floyd, The Dead, etc.), as well as some 70s German Rock pioneers like Ash Ra Tempel, Dzyan, and Amon Duul II in their heady early days. The disc opens with a couple shorter minute jams, and then moves into the thirty minute centerpiece “The Sorceror’s Hat” that slowly builds into a swirling cauldron of multi-layered sound and then gradually fizzles away, closing with the three minute acoustic guitar and sitar duo, “Rain at the Break of Dawn”. All taken, this is a pretty impressive debut from a band we’ll hope fully be haring more from.” – Peter Thelen, http://www.expose.org
“Eccentric, crazy jazz-core with lots of found sounds (radio blurts) and tons of zaniness, with great odd and freaky garbage.” – Peter Hoflich
